"Breakthough" at Fürth main railway station

The latest mosaic work from artist Iris Rauh – depicting a bus bursting through the wall – now graces Fürth's main station.

Described as a „new subterranean bus stop“, the new piece was created by the artist in collaboration with her team of helpers in the wall space between two engineering rooms.
Assistance from Fürth-based artist Ingrid Riedl also meant that the ventilation grids already installed in the wall where the mosaic was created could also be integrated almost seamlessly into the new work of art.
