Born: 1963 in Fürth (Bavaria)

Occupation: Trained florist and decorator

1979 - 1997
Production of works incorporating glass and mirrors, installations and murals in the USA, Spain, Greece, Turkey, England and Norway.

Numerous exhibitions in banks (Commerzbank, Dresdner Bank et al.), presentations at prestigious garden shows, markets and salons.

Study-visits to Majorca, the USA, Turkey, Greece and Fuertaventura.


Since 1997
Continuously-held workshops in southern Europe and in my own workshop studio in Fürth.

Application and development of Mosaic, working with ceramic tiles (my usual medium - inspired by the works of Antonio Gaudi, Friedensreich Hundertwasser, Nici de St. Phalle et al.).

Individual design of murals and floor pieces, for indoors and outdoors, in restaurants, clinics, care homes, salons, gardens, bathrooms and kitchens, spa facilities and more.

Individually commissioned works (e.g. tables, large-sized mirrors etc).


Since 2002
Representative of Fürth’s art scene and in its twin cities (e.g. Marmaris/Turkey).


2002 - 2004
Mosaic work in Nuremberg railway station: three murals entitled “Verbindung der Nationen” (connecting the nations) - a pillar in the Great Hall, “Bewegende Zeitreise” (time travel in motion) - in the Central Hall, and “Zugkunft, Peters Traum”, (“Future, Peter‘s Dream”) - pillars and mural on the first floor.

These works in Nuremberg railway station were awarded the 2003 Innovation Prize.


2004
Visit by Henry Kissinger to the workshop studio in Fürth.


Since 2006
Consultant with a project for special school classes at the Otto Lilienthal School in Fürth.

2007
31m2 mosaic "From the Eagle to the Subway" unveiled in Fürth`s Jakobinenstraße subway station as part of the city`s 1,000th anniversary celebrations.

2007
Design and production of a 30m2 mosaic fountain in the entrance lobby of Fürth`s "Fürthermare" spa baths.

2008
6m2 mural project "Fürth Earth" in the entrance lobby of Fürth`s Parks and Gardens Department.

2008
Various large and small-scale projects for private clients, including bathroom, mural and floor mosaics.

2009
Multiple art therapy projects for various institutes.
