“Fürther Nachrichten”, 8th June 2004
Moving moments in the old homeland - honorary citizen Henry Kissinger, former Foreign Secretary of the United States, accompanied by his brother Walter, paid a one-day visit to Fürth, his place of birth, during which he also looked in on the workshop of artist Iris Rauh.

The artist presented Kissinger - and honorary citizen of Fürth - with a mosaic picture-frame depicting the town’s colours of green and white. Kissinger was visibly moved by the gesture.

“Fürther Stadtzeitung”, May 2003
Fürth’s artist Iris Rauh - whose mosaic decoration of Nuremberg’s railway station has ensured that her name is on everyone’s lips - has presented the Lord Mayor, Dr. Thomas Jung, with a very special work of art: Fürth’s emblem (the clover-leaf) in Moasic. It has already secured a place of honour in his office.

The 40-year-old Fürth native’s mosaics can be found in schools, salons and restaurants across the world. Despite this, she says that she’s remained true to her roots -  in the “Cloverleaf Town”. Her store and workshop are situated on the “Marktplatz“, no. 3.
